Polysexuality means attraction to many sexes, genders, and/or gender expressions. The prefix poly-, meaning ‘many or more than one’, comes from the Greek polus, meaning ‘much or many’. It is distinct from pansexuality which encompasses all attractions. It should not be confused with polyamory: the desire for or practice of having multiple intimate partners with the consent of all individuals involved.
Polysexuality can be expressed as any (incomplete) combination of sexual attractions towards: feminine, masculine, androgyny, agender, non-binary, females, males, intersex, etc.
